The Akiles CBM650 Plastic Comb Opener is a heavy-duty modular plastic comb opener designed for high-productivity comb binding operations.
Unlike traditional comb binding machines, the CBM650 is a dedicated finishing module used to open plastic binding combs so pages can be inserted quickly and efficiently.
This modular design allows the comb opener to be used as a stand-alone workstation or mounted to compatible Akiles binding punches, including the CombMac, DuoMac, and VersaMac systems.
The CBM650 is capable of opening plastic binding combs from 3/16″ up to 2″ in diameter, making it ideal for binding everything from small reports to large manuals.
Its heavy-duty all-metal construction ensures long-term durability and reliability in office and production environments.
