Akiles MegaBind is the most complete and professional punch and binding equipment in its market, as it is the only machine that has all of the required functions for binding plastic combs. The MegaBind-1 features a newly-redesigned punching mechanism, making it capable of manually punching up to 25 sheets per pull (based on 20 lb. paper). It has a maximum binding capacity of 2" and features a unique "Double-Handle System" that allows you to punch and bind simultaneously, increasing your productivity. The "Continuous Binding Control" system - exclusive to the MegaBind series - allows the operator to set the comb opener based on the size of the comb being used, preventing "over-opening" of combs during large production runs of the same document size. The MegaBind-1 has a 14" maximum punching length with 24 fully-disengageable dies, so it can be used to punch a wide variety of sheet sizes and specialty paper types (including three-hole punched paper).

The Akiles CombMac-EX makes binding Plastic Combs fast, easy, convenient and professional; it's the ideal partner for customers that have medium volume workloads. The CombMac-EX is a more cost effective solution for those customers that don't have the production requirements needed for an Akiles CombMac-24Esystem, but are looking for a more robust and durable machine than an Akiles iComb 19E.
The CombMac-EX was built on the same platform as the CombMac-24E but with a smaller motor to reduce cost. The Akiles CombMac-EX is perfect for those customers looking for a high quality machine with a limited budget and mid volume workloads.
Heavy-Duty Electric Comb Binding System
Following the great success of our MegaBind-1E (which has a 14″ punch length), the new AlphaBind-CE offers a 12″ punch length and a more attractive cost. An ideal comb binding system for those who work mainly with Letter-size (8.5″ x 11″) sheets. It is designed to offer the same great heavy duty design as the Megabind-1E binding machine at a lower price point. Users who don't need the fourteen inch punching length offered by the Megabind-1E can save money with the AlphaBind-CE. However, it does have fully disengageable dies and an open throat design for punching special lengths if needed.
